Melrose von Melpers is a beautiful 12-14 month old smaller sized German Shepherd.  Her pictures show the shepherd-sharp eyes and alert look indicative of this breed.  When Melrose knows it is her turn to go for a walk, her excite-ometer soars to the top.  She does well on leash but will benefit from basic training to walk with you versus pulling ahead; she is eager to check out every nook and cranny.  Our beautiful girl boasts a medium-to-high energy level and a fair amount of confidence, which are apparent when she meets other dogs and romps with them in the play yard; she can be too pushy with submissive dogs but is respectful of confident male dogs who know how to handle a gal with a mind of her own.  If you’ve been looking for a smaller-shepherd who can easily fit into your car or at the foot of your bed, beautiful Melrose is your girl!
